Hy-Vee Week 12 Burger of the Week: Southwest Burger

Southwest Burger
6 Servings
1 LB Ground Chuck
½ LB Ground Pork Sausage
2 tsp Hy-Vee Taco Seasoning
½ cup (1 bunch) minced green onions
Hy-Vee Fresh Baked Hamburger buns
6 slices Pepper Jack Cheese
2 Cups Pico De Gallo
½ cup Mayo with Sriracha sauce to taste (combine this together with your mayo)
• Combine the ground chuck and pork together
• Add the taco seasoning and green onions. Mix thoroughly, but don’t over mix
• Form into patties and allow to rest for at least 10 minutes
• Grill burgers to medium well. Allow to rest for 2 minutes or so, place on bun
• Top burger with pepper jack cheese, Pico de Gallo and spread sriracha mayo on top piece of bun
**Recommend to serve this down with a fresh cut fruit salad to calm down the heat just a bit
