The Tribute to Elvis – 6 Servings
- 1.5 LB Butcher Block Grind ground beef located in your meat counter (may contain Ribeye, Tenderloin, Brisket, KC Strip and Sirloin “Whatever was trimmed that morning, very steaky flavor”)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- ¾ tsp onion powder
- 3 Bananas Peeled and sliced into ¼ inch slices
- 1 tsp unsalted butter
- 1 tbs Brown Sugar
- ½ cup Hy-Vee Smooth Peanut Butter
- 6 pieces of thick cut bacon, diced and sautéed, drained
- 6 Hawaiian Buns
Instructions:
- Mix together the Butcher Block Grind Beef with onion powder, salt and pepper
- Combine thoroughly and then create burgers and allow to rest under refrigeration
- Grill burgers to medium well. Allow to rest 2 minutes or so, place on bun
- In a separate pan sauté bananas in butter for 3-4 minutes and add brown sugar
- Top cooked burger with a dollop of smooth peanut butter, add warm sautéed bananas and top with cooked, diced bacon
- Finish burger by topping with top bun
- ** Believe it or not actually goes quite well with burger set-up of lettuce, tomato and dill pickles
