Of the 2020 NFL Draft class, only six up and coming rookies can say they’re joining the reigning Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs. Those six players are: running back Clyde Edwards-Helair (#32 overall, LSU), linebacker Willie Gay Jr. (#63 overall, Mississippi State), offensive lineman Lucas Niang (#96 overall, TCU), DB L’Jarius Sneed (#138 overall, Louisiana Tech), defensive end Michael Danna (#177 overall, Michigan), cornerback Thakarius BoPete Keyes (#237 overall, Tulane).
In their first press conferences with the media, three players, Sneed, Keyes and Danna expressed their excitement to not only join the team but get the opportunity to learn from, compete with and play alongside the team’s veteran leaders.
